When the Toy Story Collection was released, the toys were not that difficult to find and could be found at most of your local toy stores at a very reasonable cost. Unfortunately if you’re only starting your collection now, finding a Toy Story Collection RC, which is the most accurate RC you will find on the market, proves to be an incredibly difficult and incredibly expensive task. I have seen Toy Story Collection RCs in the box go on eBay and Amazon for upwards of $600, which I think is absolutely ludicrous. If you still have one in the box, I recommend keeping it in the box because I think its value is only going to increase. Now if you’re like me and just want a movie accurate RC toy for your collection, you do not need to purchase one in the box. This will reduce your costs significantly. I have seen used, good condition RC cars go on eBay for about $70.00 – $100.00. If you’re savvy and patient, you might want to just roam garage sales/charity shops (which is what I did) and one day you may get lucky and spot one for a reasonable price. I was fortunate enough to spot one at a car boot sale for $16.00! RC may take a while to hunt down, but it is well worth the search because he is a beautifully made toy.
