Jingle Joe was one of Sid’s toys in the first Toy Story movie who never actually had any lines. We first meet him when he rolls out from under Sid’s bed and turns off Woody’s flashlight. Jingle Joe had a very minor role and wasn’t the most popular character by any means. Despite his lack of popularity Toys R’ Us released a Toys R’ Us exclusive Jingle Joe toy that can still be found on Amazon for a fairly reasonable price ranging from $35.00-$60.00. This toy would be great for any Toy Story collection, and I think it’s a shame that most of Sid’s toys were never manufactured because I think there are plenty of Toy Story fans out there who would appreciate them. The good news is there was a mini figure collection released of all Sid’s toys which would be a great collection to have even though they won’t exactly be to scale. If you’d like something quirky and different for your Toy Story collection, I think this would be a great addition. Unfortunately the actual toy doesn’t jingle like he did in the movie 🙁
