By Buttercup made his first appearance in Toy Story 3 in Bonnie’s room. A Buttercup plushie was released as part of the Toy Story Collection released by Thinkway Toys during the third wave and also sold out incredibly quickly. Buttercup proves to be the most difficult Toy Story Collection toy to obtain and when he comes up on eBay, he does so for a very high cost compared to what he was selling for when he was originally released only a few years ago. I’ve seen Buttercup pop up on eBay from anywhere between $300-$600 new in the box. If you managed to grab one when they first came out, consider yourself lucky!
