Frozen Fashems

Frozen Fash’ems

Fash’ems are fun, twisty, and squishy water-filled toys. Once you start squishing, you just can’t stop!

Initially I wasn’t really interested in any Fash’ems until I saw these Frozen Fash’ems. They looked absolutely adorable and I just couldn’t pass them up. Fash’ems are always very affordable so I thought I would grab a few. In the Frozen series, there are 6 different characters to collect: Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Sven, Olaf, and Pabbie.

Product Description

There is no denying that these cute little squishy friends are adorable. Kids absolutely love them and love a surprise toy. There is no end of Youtubers opening surprise toys on camera getting the kids all excited to get a load of surprise toys of their own.

Anna

Anna looks adorable with her squinted eyes because she’s smiling so hard. She also has some nice peach coloured eyeshadow on which adds a nice bit of colour Anna’s hair is swooping across her forehead and she has two cute little pigtails coming across her shoulders. She’s wearing her blue dress with a purple cape painted on. The dress is hollow underneath which forms a bit of a suction cup when you place her on a table, which makes this figure nice a sturdy. Like Kristoff, she’s not overly squishy when compared to the other figures in this series, but for some odd reason, the back of her head is super squishy and hollow although I do not feel any liquid inside. I actually prefer the figures not to be too squishy because it makes then sturdier and easier to stand and display.

Olaf Fashem

Olaf

This Olaf figure may not be the most movie accurate figure, but he is adorable. Olaf has a big head with four little stick hairs coming out at the top of his head. He has a pointy orange carrot nose and two little sticks for arms. He has three black buttons down his chest and is in a seated position. This Olaf figure is incredibly squishy and filled with liquid. The problem with this figure is that it is almost all white. This means it is incredibly difficult to keep this figure clean. Olaf will collect dirt and dust very quickly. Also be careful about pulling the sticks on top of his head because they can rip off. Unfortunately two of the sticks came off on mine. While Olaf may have to melt away one day, he is very cute and squishy.

Kristoff Fashem

Kristoff

Kristoff also looks adorable with his squinted eyes because he’s smiling so hard. He’s wearing a brown outfit with a blue hat. There is plenty of blonde hair swooping across his forehead and you can move it up and down, but it will bounce straight back into place. Kristoff’s arms are wide open as if he’s going to give you a hug which makes him look that much more adorable. While he very cute, he’s not super squishy, especially when you compare him to Sven, Olaf, and Pabbie. Again, I actually prefer the figures not to be too squishy because it makes then sturdier and easier to stand and display.

Sven Fashem

Sven

Sven is just too cute for words and is definitely my favourite figure in this series. He’s got big eyes and is in a seated position like a puppy dog. His antlers are placed almost flat on his head, which actually works very well for the figure. While Sven’s body is not the squishiest in the world, his head is very squishy like Olaf’s. Because of Sven’s colouring, the dust and dirt will be less noticeable on this figure. Even if it is noticeable, it almost looks like it’s meant to be that way since reindeers are naturally fluffy. This figure is definitely the highlight of this series in my opinion.

Pabbie Fashem

Pabbie

Like Anna and Kristoff, Pabbie is smiling so hard, he’s got squinted eyes which makes him look absolutely adorable. Hey’s mostly grey and pale green, with lots of “fur” on his back with some detailing on his vest. Like Olaf, he is very very squishy. He is probably the squishiest figure in this series. This can be problematic because the more you squish and play with him, the more he’s going to collect dust and get dirty. Pabbie looks very cute and is a nice shape to stand him up on display, but you will have to be careful to keep him clean.

These toys can be purchased as surprise toys or you can purchase the whole set in a 6 pack. It was a long time before I saw that there was an option to purchase a 6 pack. I spent quite a bit of money trying to get the whole set, but never managed to find Elsa 🙁 I eventually gave up because although these toys are very cute and fun, they are definitely not toys made to last.

For Kids or Toy Collectors?

Fashems are great for the kids and even make for cute little table top toys or squishy stress relievers. However, because Fashems are very sticky, they collect dust and dirt very very quickly. They are not toys made to last and will either need to be cleaned very often or thrown away after a few weeks.

For toy collectors, there is absolutely no shortage on Frozen merchandise and if you’re looking for something with a long shelf life to display in your collection, these Frozen Fashems are a definite pass.

Where can I find these Fashems?

If you’re looking to purchase these little guys, your search will be very quick. Fashems can be found in almost all toy stores and most department stores such as Tesco and Asda or Target and Walmart if you live in the US/Canada. They are not hard to find and are very affordable.

In the UK they are £2.99 and $4.50 in the US. Although they are very affordable, I do think they are quite expensive for what they are. They are made of cheap material and will not have a long life. You can easily spend a fair bit of money trying to get the whole collection, at which point you may be better of purchasing one nicer toy. At the end of the day, it’s about what makes you or your little one happy, and it all comes down to how much you want these squishy friends and whether you consider they are worth the purchase.

Money aside, they are cute little squishy toys that are fun to open. Of all the different Fashem series, I definitely the Frozen series is the one of the best made squishy figures. They’re cute, squishy, and fun, and worth the purchase for little ones looking for a fun toy.
