By Bill and Fleur’s wedding was a beautiful event where everyone came together one last time for a moment of happiness and love before the final battle at Hogwarts. Litjoy released a lovely invitation replica in their Magical subscription box to commemorate this beautiful event.
The Bill and Fleur Wedding Invitation was released in the Litjoy’s Magical Edition – Year 7.1 subscription box. The invitation was also available for separate purchase on Litjoy’s website. I purchased the invitation direct from their online shop for $9.00 plus shipping.
The Invitation
The invitation arrived in a beautiful shiny gold envelope. The front of the envelope is blank so it can be customised to your liking. The envelope came sealed with a purple wax seal sticker on the back with the letters W and F merged together. The design of the wax sticker is stunning and is made of durable material which will not break or melt easily. Just don’t be too rough with it!
The invitation itself is lovely. It is a printed on cardstock. There is a delicate patterned frame in beautiful rose gold foiling. The pattern is similar to the black phoenix design seen on Fleur’s wedding dress in the film. The invitation is 6 inches high and 6 inches wide.

There is a faint delicate featherlike design printed on both sides of the invitation. There is nothing printed on the back of the invitation except for the faint background pattern. The pattern is grey/purple which looks lovely as it fits with the colour scheme of the wedding. I do feel it clashes a little with the colour of the foiling, but this is nit-picking.
Unfortunately, at the time of this post, the invitation is no longer available on the website. Do keep an eye out as previously sold-out items sometimes come back into stock on the online store.
Geekkie Opinion
The invitation is a lovely piece that looks like something that came straight out of the Wizarding World. It is also a great display item. It was relatively affordable, but I do not see many floating around on eBay. Whilst it is a lovely piece, I would not spend much money seeking it out. The foiling and design is beautiful but at the end of the day, it is a piece of card so I would not recommend giving an extortionate amount of money to an online seller. Hopefully it will be available on the website again but even it does not, different versions can be found on Etsy or you could make one yourself!
