Cut the Rope Nommies Micro-Figures

Cut the Rope is a fun physics based game in which the goal of the game is to solve a series of puzzles so that a little green monster named ‘Om Nom’ can eat some candy! This game has had 500 million downloads worldwide and it isn’t very difficult to see why this game is so popular. The game is cute, fun, and challenging and the nerd in me absolutely loves it. Following the success of this game there has been a range of Cut the Rope merchandise and toys including these Nommies Micro Figures. These figures looked adorable and they’re also collectibles so I knew I had to give them a chance!

Cut the Rope Nommies Micro Figures 12 Pack

Each pack contains 12 ‘Super Squishy Collectables’. You will be able to see which nine figures you are purchasing before even opening the package, while three figures will remain as a surprise contained in little green spheres. I purchased two packages and I definitely got a variety of different figures with some doubles as well. The figures in front of the opened green spheres are the surprise figures that were contained in the spheres.

Cut the Rope Nommies Collectable Micro FiguresThe little figures are very cute but I would not classify them as ‘squishy’ as it says on the packaging. The figures are made of rubber but they are quite firm. They are nowhere near as squishy as Fashems, which is not a bad thing because I think the material is perfect considering the size of the figures. Some of the figures are very well made and look great such as the nomming On Nom and the astronaut On Nom. However, other figures, such as the Om Nom on the blue stand and the upside down Om Nom, were not the best-made figures. I have two of the Om Noms on the blue stand and both have a pretty poor paint job, which is a shame. Generally I think the figures look pretty good and that poorly made figures are a minority. My biggest complaint about these Nommies is that they are meant to be collectable but the package did not contain anything to tell me how many figures there are in total to collect or a list of all the different figures. For something that is meant to be collectible I think it is crucial to inform collectors the aim of their goal. At first I thought the image on the back was showing us all the different figures we can collect in my collection I already have a couple of figures not contained in this image so this cannot be a definitive list 🙁

I think Cut the Rope, and its variations, is a very fun game and I definitely recommend downloading it. Om Nom is a very lovable monster and I do not regret purchasing these figures in the slightest, especially at the price point of £1 for each package. If you can get a hold of these figures at a low cost, I would say they’re definitely worth picking up. Unfortunately I do not know how many figures there are to collect, or what all the figures look like, so I will not be going out of my way to complete this collection because I wouldn’t know when it was actually complete. If you stumble across these at a low cost, pick them up but I would not recommend going out of your way to search for them.
