By Since the Toy Story movies weren’t enough for the die-hard Toy Story fans, Pixar brought us Toy Story Toons, which are a collection of Toy Story short films. Toy Story or Terror is a Toy Story Toon where the toys end up in Sleep Well Motel, the easiest place for a toy to get lost. Mr Pricklepants foreshadows the usual events of a horror film and the toys get separated and picked off one by one! Will Woody and the gang make it back to Bonnie? If you have not seen this short already, you’ll have to see it find out!
While the toys try to find their way back to Bonnie in the Sleep Well Motel, we meet some new toys along the way including a cat Pez Dispenser. Unfortunately we never learn her name, but she plays a key role in being the lookout for the rest of the gang. Her glasses are clearly working.
Toy Story is the holy grail of toy collecting because, come on, you’re collecting toys from a movie about toys! I hadn’t started my hunt for the toys from the shorts yet because I wanted to complete my collection of the toys from the movies, but I stumbled across this Pez Cat Dispenser in Toys R Us and there was no question about it, I just had to get it.
This Toy Story of Terror Cat Dispenser looks exactly like the Cat Pez Dispenser we see in the short film. It’s a green Pez Dispenser and Pez Cat is grey and white, has big green eyes, little freckles where her whiskers would be, a little pink nose, and big black glasses. She comes with three different flavours of Pez: lemon candy, cherry candy, and strawberry candy. If you want to be really movie accurate, I would put some pink coloured Pez inside.
If you’re a big Toy Story fan and want a complete collection of all the Toy Story toys, this Pez Cat Pez Dispenser is not to be missed. She’s cute and very affordable.
