This is Halloween Disney Playlist

Boys and girls of every age, would you like to hear something strange? Come with us and you will see, this our playlist for Halloween!

October is the month where we all can’t wait to start watching Hocus Pocus, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and maybe even a really scary horror film that means you’ll need to keep the nightlight on that night. Now everyone may not enjoy a scary horror film, but Halloween is about more than just scary things that keep us up at night. In the world of Disney, it’s about celebrating all the villains who play a key role in making the world of Disney so magical.

We have put together a Disney Halloween playlist to not only get you in the mood for some trick-or-treating fun, but to celebrate all the villains in the world of Disney who challenge the heroes and make the heroes better and stronger people!

1. This is Halloween – The Nightmare Before Christmas

This is Halloween Nightmare Before Christmas Disney playlist

This of course is an obvious one as “This is Halloween” is the Disney Halloween anthem. Everyone hail to the Pumpkin song!

2. Be Prepared – The Lion King

Be Prepared

Scar is arguably the most evil villain in Disney history. He killed his own brother and attempted to kill his nephew without feeling a blink of remorse. There is no way Scar could not make it into a scary Disney Halloween playlist!

3. Oogie Boogie’s Song – The Nightmare Before Christmas

Oogey Boogey Song Disney Halloween Playlist

It isn’t Halloween unless Oogey Boogey gets his kicks! Mr Oogey Boogey says If you aren’t shaking, then there’s something very wrong because this may be the last time you hear the Boogey Song!

4. I Put a Spell on You – Hocus Pocus

I put a spell on you

Watch out! Watch out! Watch out! Hocus Pocus is a Halloween movie we all love and the second October hits, we cannot wait to watch it! I couldn’t possibly leave “I Put a Spell on You” off this list.

5. Poor Unfortunate Souls – The Little Mermaid

Poor Unfortunate Soul Disney Halloween Playlist

“If you want to cross a bridge my sweet, you’ve got to pay a toll”. You poor unfortunate soul, you’d better think very, very carefully before making a deal with the sea witch!

6. Trust in Me – The Jungle Book (Scarlett Johansson)

Trust in Me Scarlett Johansson Disney Halloween Playlist

In the new The Jungle Book movie released in 2016, Scarlett Johansson voices Kaa, an enormous Python in the Jungle. While she seems calm and friendly, we know better than to trust her! This version of “Trust in Me” is very calming and creepy at the same time and is perfect for Halloween!

7. Once Upon A Dream – Maleficent (Lana Del Ray)

Once Upon a Dream Disney Halloween Playlist

In Maleficent we learned that Maleficent wasn’t so bad after all, but the Once Upon a Dream song by Lana Del Ray is a perfect combination of sweet and creepy to remind us all that we all have good in us but there is also a little evil fire inside all of us that we must be way of!

8. Kidnap the Sandy Claws – The Nightmare Before Christmas

Kidnap the Sandy Claws Disney Halloween Playlist

Kidnap the Sandy Claws, throw him in a box. Bury him for 90 years, then see if he talks. Then Mr Oogey Boogey man can take the whole thing over then! While this song may have a bit of a Christmas tone to it, it of course remains a perfect Halloween song.

9. Pink Elephants on Parade – Dumbo

Elephants on Parade Disney Halloween Playlist

Elephants on Parade took creativity to a whole new level and definitely creeped a lot of us out. The creepiness is all in good fun and makes for an excellent Halloween song!

10. Hellfire – The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Hellfire Disney Halloween Playlist

This is probably Disney’s darkest and creepiest song. This is definitely not something Disney would do today, but it’s dark and creepy and many children may not understand the meaning of this song fully, it is definitely a dark and Halloween worthy song.

11. My Lullaby – Lion King II: Simba’s Pride

My Lullaby Disney Halloween Playlist

Zira followed in the footsteps of Scar and had an incredible thirst for revenge which led her to sing this creepy and evil lullaby for Kovu. The second Lion King movie is all about pride and I’m sure Scar would have been very proud.

12. Heffalumps and Woozles – Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day

Heffalumps and Woozles

Winnie the Pooh and the gang were always creeped out by the dangerous Heffalumps and Woozles and this song perfectly sums that up. There seems to be a running theme about scary elephants with Disney!

13. Trick-or-Treat – Trick-or-Treat Disney Short (1952)

Trick or Treat

“Trick-or-treat all night through!” This is a song from a 1952 short, Trick-or-Treat and while it may be an oldie, it is definitely a goodie with an old school Donald Duck <3

I hope these unlucky 13 songs help you get in the mood for a spooky, but not too scary Disney Halloween! Embrace your inner villain for a day and hopefully you will get more treats than tricks! (unless you visit Donald Duck’s house)
